Conferences & CME
Academic Participation
A log of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and significant conferences attended is being prepared for this section.
Core Research Interests
Clinical research is a fundamental component of the DM residency. Current areas of scientific inquiry focus on bridging the gap between advanced diagnostics and patient outcomes.
- Interventional Pulmonology Outcomes: Assessing the efficacy and safety of advanced bronchoscopic procedures.
- Airway Disease Phenotyping: Understanding variable clinical presentations in severe asthma and COPD.
- Pleural Diagnostics: Enhancing the diagnostic yield of medical thoracoscopy and pleural fluid analysis.
Teaching Experience
Academic medicine relies on the structured transfer of knowledge. As a senior resident in training, teaching responsibilities are integrated into the daily clinical workflow at VPCI.
- Bedside Clinical Teaching: Providing clinical instruction in respiratory examination and case formulation to junior residents and medical students.
- Journal Clubs: Regular critical appraisal of recent literature in high-impact respiratory and critical care journals.
- Case Presentations: Structuring and presenting complex pulmonary cases in departmental multidisciplinary meetings to guide clinical management pathways.
